Laramie has been serving as Associate Pastor for Worship and Discipleship at Ramah Baptist Church since 2022 after having served churches in Mississippi and Louisiana in similar capacities for over 20 years. Additionally, he serves as the Director of Media and Managing Editor for G3 Ministries and is the Director of their Biblical Worship Workshops. He studied music at Northwest Mississippi Community College and the University of Mississippi, completing a Bachelor of Arts in Music (Voice) at Leavell College of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (NOBTS), as well as a Master of Music in Church Music (Conducting) from NOBTS. He earned his ThM in Church Music and Worship from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Laramie and his wife Angela have one daughter, Addison.
